Pick a color. Pick a scene. Watch the house change.
Explore colors, holidays and game-day scenes to see just how dramatically permanent lighting can transform your home after dark.
One home. A completely different mood.
These are the same finished lighting scenes used in the interactive viewer above. Scroll through them and picture the same control extending into landscaping, trees, paths, decks and outdoor living areas.
The lighting should fit the house.
Permanent lighting should enhance the architecture instead of overpowering it. Stone, brick, farmhouse, modern, cottage and traditional homes can all use the same technology in completely different ways.
Quiet enough for every night.
Permanent does not have to mean flashy. Warm white can make the roofline, stone and entry architecture feel finished without looking seasonal.
Then change the mood.
Clean lines stay clean.
Permanent roofline + landscape lighting.
Designed to work together.
NiteNerds is not just about putting color on your eaves. We design a complete exterior-lighting experience so the house, landscaping, pathways and outdoor spaces can complement one another from the same smart-control ecosystem.
Your roofline becomes useful every night of the year.
Low-profile permanent lighting blends into the architecture when off, then transforms the home after dark — from refined warm-white accent lighting to holidays, game days, birthdays and special events.
Take the same experience beyond the roofline.
Bring trees, planting beds, walkways, stonework, patios and outdoor gathering spaces into the lighting design so the entire property feels intentional after sunset.
One system.
One app. One property.
Roofline and landscape lighting do not need to feel like separate projects. When planned together, they can operate as coordinated zones from the same control environment — warm white around the entire property on an ordinary night, or a synchronized color scene when the occasion calls for it.
More than a color wheel.
The system is designed for everyday convenience, not just holidays. Build zones, save custom looks, schedule lighting, adjust brightness and bring different areas of the property together when you want one coordinated scene.
Custom Colors
Create your own combinations for favorite teams, family events, businesses, parties and seasonal looks.
Animated Patterns
Go beyond static color with motion effects and customizable patterns when you want a more energetic display.
Zones
Divide the installation into logical areas and control each zone independently or as part of a larger scene.
Timers & Schedules
Set lighting to come on around sunset, turn off automatically, or repeat on the days you choose.
Music-Sync Options
Create a higher-energy experience for parties and special events with supported music-responsive features.
Voice & Smart-Home Control
Supported voice-assistant integrations can make common lighting commands even easier around the home.
Color when you want it.
Real white when you do not.
A dedicated RGBW design matters because everyday architectural lighting should not look like a holiday display with the saturation turned down. Dedicated white LEDs produce a more natural white for stone, siding, trim and landscape features.
Good lighting should look like it belongs there.
The strongest installations are not simply the brightest ones. They follow the architecture, respect the home’s materials and sightlines, and give you the flexibility to go from restrained warm white to full-color scenes without changing the hardware.
Where NiteNerds can light.
The goal is to design around the property you actually use — not to force every project into a roofline-only box.
Make the whole property come alive.
Permanent lighting gets attention on the roofline. Landscape and architectural lighting finish the experience. When they are designed as one system, your house, trees, pathways, stonework, decks, pool areas and outdoor spaces can all respond together.
Designed first. Installed once.
Enjoyed year after year.
A great lighting system starts with the property, not the product box. We plan the visible rooflines, viewing angles, landscape features, zones and control strategy before the final installation scope is confirmed.
Serving Northern, Central & Western Virginia.
We serve homeowners and businesses across a broad Virginia corridor. Project availability depends on location, scope and system design.

Permanent lighting without the guesswork.
A few of the questions homeowners usually ask before they decide whether permanent architectural and landscape lighting makes sense for their property.
Will the roofline lights be noticeable during the day?
The goal of a professional permanent-lighting installation is to keep the track low-profile and coordinated with the architecture so the system is far less noticeable when it is off than temporary seasonal lighting.
Can I use warm white instead of color?
Yes. Dedicated warm-white LEDs are a major reason RGBW systems work well for everyday architectural lighting. You can use refined white most nights and switch to color only when you want it.
Can the roofline and landscape lights run together?
Yes. Roofline and landscape lighting can be planned as coordinated zones in the same smart-control ecosystem so the yard and house can share one scene or operate independently.
Can different areas of the house show different colors?
Yes. Zoning allows different parts of the system to run different colors, patterns or brightness levels, or to be grouped together for a whole-property scene.
Can I automate the lights?
Yes. Supported timers and schedules allow common scenes to run automatically, including everyday evening lighting and recurring seasonal schedules.
Is this only for holidays?
No. Holidays are one use. Permanent RGBW lighting is also useful for architectural accent lighting, security-style illumination, outdoor entertaining, landscape lighting, game days, events and commercial branding.
How long are the LEDs rated to last?
The TruLight platform used for these systems is rated for 100,000 hours of LED operation. Actual service life depends on use, installation and environmental conditions.
What happens if I want to add landscape lighting later?
That can be planned during the initial design so future zones and outdoor areas can be considered as part of the larger property-lighting strategy.
